He mentions sorae years later (1885—86) 1 as observed
during the Norwegian North-Atlantic Expedition:
Hyperia galba Mont. (p. 562).
Tauria medusarum (= Hyperoche Kroeyeri p. 564).
Parathemisto abyssorum (p. 566).
Themisto libellula Mand t (— Euthemisto libellula p. 560).
» bispinosus A. Boeck (= Euthemisto bispinosa p. 569).
The author of this paper adds in 1885 2 to the list of the
arctic fauna:
Lanceola Lovéni C. B s (p. 553) and
» Clausi » (p. 553).
C. Forsstrand3 enumerates in 1886 the following species
as belonging to the arctic region, this region taken with
some-what other limits than in the present paper:
Talitrus Cyanece Sabine (= Hyperia medusarum p. 560).
Hyperia medusarum (= Hyperia Latreillei p. 561).
» Kroeyeri (= Hyperoche Kroeyeri p. 564).
Parathemisto compressa Goes (p. 567).
Themisto libellula (— Euthemisto libellula p. 569).
» bispinosa (= Euthemisto bispinosa p. 569).
After reducing the various synonyms to the names, which
in my opinion are the true ones, we find in the above cited
literature all together 15 species mentioned from the arctic
region, viz;
Tyro borealis G. O. Sars.
Lanceola Lovéni C. Bo vallius.
» Clausi »
Hyperia medusarum O. F. Muller.
» Latreillei II. Milne-Edwards.
» galba Montagu.
Hyperoche Kroeyeri C. B o vallius.
» abyssorum A. Boeck.
