plenty of milk, it was not for sale, he wanted it himself ;
nor would he sell us anything else, the curmudgeon !
The tents now grew more and more numerous, and in
front of each was a big heap of aj’gol for winter fuel. How-
ever, not wishing to be annoyed with inquisitive visitors,
we continued until we reached four tents standing by them-
selves. Here the Lama succeeded in buying a doinha
