precipices, the species is completely lacking in the parish of Kågeröd
which mainly comprises the lower slopes of Söderåsen and the valley
of Vegeån and for the larger part is situated outside the area of the
gneiss moraine. The species is not found within the area of
Linderödsåsen either.
3. Ecology - field investigations. The distribution map of Quercus
petraea in Skåne shows certain irregularities with regard to the
frequency of the localities in which the tree is found. This frequency is
