In this issue we present photographs of the CBC staff at work.
Programs of various types are pictured on the air; CBC reporters
and artists are seen preparing for broadcasts; and our engineering and
secretarial staffs are depicted at their jobs.
After 2 1/2 years of steady expansion, the CBC International Service
now has nearly 150 full-time employees. Counting the CBC domestic
service personnel on whom the International Service frequently calls
for assistance, and the scores of free-lance writers and artists who
contribute to our programs, it may be said that many times this
number of Canadians play essential roles in the successful operation
of the Voice of Canada.
