“Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men
that the defences for peace must be constructed”, so runs the
preamble to the UNESCO Charter. In Canada, an active member
since the inception of this organization, this philosophy works in
practical way through the Nation’s Schools and Universities.
Education for peace and for the good of this society is the right of
every Canadian.
