Canadians at work
In answer to listeners’ numerous questions about employment in Canada,
the CBC International Service presents the -program series, ‘Canadians at
Work”. The series is produced by Liston Burns of the United Kingdom and
Commonwealth section, and is designed to give listeners an opportunity of
visiting Canadian men and women at work.
To make this series possible, CBC producers and operators travel to all
parts of Canada to explore the various industrial fields and to interview the
men and women employed in them. The series is presented to illustrate the
working lives of Canadians and to describe Canadian production methods.
