The average Canadian uses over 300 Imperial gallons of oil a year. Until
recently over 90% of this was imported. With the development of the
Albertan oil fields it is expected that production will supply Canadians’
requirements within the next ten years.
Le canadien moyen utilise plus de 300 gallons de pétrole par année. Jusqu’a
ces derniéres années, 90% du pétrole employé au Canada était importé, mais
avec l’exploitation du sous-sol albertain on prévoit que le Canada, d’ici dix ans,
