Canadian Newspapers
The newspapers of Canada are now engaged in one of the foremost tasks
confronting not only their own country but the whole of the free world. They
are zealously gathering the news and presenting it factually, clearly and
accurately. This makes for an enlightened and balanced viewpoint — a prime
requisite in these days of democracy’s trial. Unhampered by paralysing
restrictions, and inspired by the traditional code of the press in the free world,
Canadian newspapers are playing a vital role in upholding the cause of free-
dom.
