Preface to the electronic edition
Nexö visited the young Soviet Union in 1922 together with German
artist George Grosz and
enthusiastically described his impressions in the Danish
book Mod Dagningen (1923). This German
translation was published the same year. It was made by Berta
Selinger, who we think was Austrian and born in 1880? The book was
digitized in 2012 by Det Kongelige Bibliotek (Copenhagen), from where
the scanned images and OCR text in January 2025 were copied to Project
Runeberg.
This volume was scanned by Det Kongelige Bibliotek, Denmark's national library,
from where the scanned images were copied to Project Runeberg.
