MEDDELANDEN OCH AKTSTYCKEN
me to keep them & when the last steamer left I am ashamed to
say I quiet forgot the duty I had prescribed myself of sending off
the parcel. Mr. Williams precious work has been to us of an eminent
use. Time after time I have translated a choosen narrative for our
little missionary meetings & it is remarkable how much greater
an interest it seems to have called forth than the common
»Missionsbetraktelser». Mr. W. who always leads the service has for several
months explained chapters of Esaias, which has spread a plain &
most interesting light on the missionary cause from the profetic days
till the present. I dare say, you would have felt delighted of his
zeal & still more of the »unspeakable gift» from above. A little
hymn once recited, whose Author you will know by its simplicity,

Allow me to add: The first opportunity of returning your
books, will conscientiously be taken profit of & if there should be
some amongst them you are just wanting, only tell me & they shall
imideately be send with the paket-post.
If my dear husband is not answering Your letter to day as he
wishes, but rather doubt of, he will take the first opportunity of
doing it, sending to day his brotherly remembrance & love.
To be self remembered of your dear partner & those worthy
friends who rejoices with us, praising God for his faithful servant’s
blessed labour & happy return, will always be highly valuable to
one, who remains
in the love of our Saviour
Yours
P. W—hi.

my attending tomorrow to fulfill the duties devolving on me as a
Director of the above Society, but no one who has the slightest
claim on common courtesy can voluntarily expose himself to a pos-
