Eftbrts made by the Company to establish
an uniform Shilling Rate for the Conveyance
of Telegraphic Messages:

(3.) If any Difference arises between the Post
master General and any of the said Com
panies concerning the Amount of such net

den anslaaede samlede Værdi af Aktie-Kapi
talen, eller Godtgjørelsen for Tabet af sand
syulig fremtidig Gevinst, eller den Sum der
bliver at betale i Betragtning af Kompagniets
Bestræbelser for at faae indført en ensartet
Shilling-Taxt, da skal enhver saadan Tvist
afgjøres ved Voldgift paa den Maade, der
er foreskreven i „the Companies Clauses
Consolidation Act 1845“ med Hensyn til
Tvistigheders Afgjørelse ved Voldgift, og den
Lovs Bestemmelser med Hensyn til Voldgift
skulle ansees gjældende som om de vare
indtagne i nærværende Lov.
Profits as aforesaid, or in the Case of the
United Kingdom Company as to the Price
paid for ,, Hughes s Type-printing Telegraph,“
or as to the estiniated aggregate Valne of
the Share Capital or the Compensation for
the Loss of prospective Profits, or the Sum
to be paid in consideration of the Efforts
of the Company to establish an uniform
Shilling Rate, every such Difference shall
be settled by Arbitration in the Manner
prescribed by „The Companies Clauses Con
solidation Act, 1845,“ with respect to the
Settlement of Disputes hy Arbitration, and
the Provisions of that Act with respect to
Arbitration shall be deemed to be incorpo
rated with this Act:
(4.) The Purchase Money and Compensation to be
paid by the Postmaster General under the
Provisions aforesaid shall be paid to the
Directors of each Company, and the Receipt
under the Common Seal of the Company,
countersigned by the Chairman or Deputy
Chairman and by the Secretary thereof,
shall be a sufflcient Discharge to the Post
master General for the Amount therein spe
cified to be received; and the Postmaster
General shall not be required to see to the
Application of the Sums so paid or be re
sponsible for Misapplication thereof:
(4.) Den Kjøbesum og Godtgjørelse, der af Ge
neral-Postmesteren bliver at betale i Hen
hold til forannævnte Bestemmelser, skal be
tales til de respektive Kompagniers Direk
tører, og en for Modtagelsen under Kom
pagniets Segl given Tilstaaelse, undertegnet
af Sammes Formand eller Viceformand og
af Sekretæren, skal være tilstrækkelig Kvit
tering for General-Postmesteren for det Be
løb, som deri er opført som modtaget; og
det skal ikke paaligge General-Postmesteren
at have Tilsyn med Anvendelsen af de saa
ledes betalte Summer eller at være ansvar
lig for deres urigtige Anvendelse.
(5.) The Amounts so received by the Directors
of each Company shall, together with all
undivided Profits and any Monies in the
Hands of or due to the Company up to the
Date of Transfer, be applied by them in the
first place in discharge of all the Debts of the
same Company, and in Payment of any Sums
that may be voted by the Shareholders for
Payment for or in recognition of Special
