and wheat, 6 ore for barley, and up to 4 gre for
oats, yet so that producers shall be guaranteed
a minimum price of 22 ore for wheat and 20 gre
for rye.
In order to stimulate the consumption of corn
of their own production the Monopoly moreover
pays to growers a certain bounty on corn ground
at country (local) mills. This bounty has been 4
gre per kilogramme for rye, wheat, and barley,
and 3 ore for oats; but for the grain-year of
1934/35 it has been increased to 9 ore per kilo-
gramme for wheat and rye, 6 ore for barley,
and 3 ore for oats,
The above prices paid for corn are for deliy-
ery at the nearest railway station or steamship
halt, and on the same terms the Monopoly deliv-
ers its products free at buyer’s nearest railway
station or steamship halt. For more remote
districts there are special terms for further car-
riage allowances.
Of the 1932 yield the Monopoly purchased
about 52,000 tons of home-grown corn and _ paid
bounties on approximately 154,000 tons of corn
ground at country mills. In the corn-year of
1933/34 the quantity amounted to 50,000 tons and
bounties were paid on approximately 150,000
tons.

grain and flour (meal) were as follows:
