Medaljen for Edel Daad (Noble Acts). Established on August 19, 1885. Awarded in gold and silver for distinguished bravery in the saving of life. Kongens Fortjenstmedalje (The King’s Medal of Merit). Instituted by King Haakon VII on February 1, 1908 as an award for meritorious service in art, science, and industry. This medal is granted in silver, and on exceptional occasions in gold. 7th of June Medal. Instituted by Order of Council of June 22, 1906 in commemoration of the 7th of June 1905 (disso- lution of the union with Sweden).
