Conficere är ovanligt med ut: Confeceram, ut solverent
cen-tesimis, Cic. Att. 6, 1, 5. Cæs. Bd. 1, 13, 2.
Efficere med ut är vanligt: Efficiebat, ut vehemens esset,
oratio, Cic. Br. 24, 93. Or. 10, 34 etc. Hoc profecto efficiet,
ut de ea multo dicat ornatius, de Or. 1, 15, 67. 2, 32, 139
etc. — Negation: Ne eller ut non, af hvilka den förra är
vanligare : In quo cum effeceris, ne quid ineptum aut voltuosum sit,
Or. 18, 60. Dial. 34, 117. Clu. 30, 83. Phil. 11, 10, 23.
