> the longest journey

The longest journey is the journey inward,
A travel that we dread the most.
All hell is loose to battle with a single sword
And deep in Hades crying souls are lost.
Oh, Mephisopheles'.
Your altar groaning with abundant spread
Of all the wordly things humanity will ask.
- Beholder's heart belonging to the dead,
The face, forever, frozen to a mask.
- Medusa's eyes were laid upon thee, once.
