there is concentrating work with two mills and a flotation section for the extraction of
copper and iron pyrites. The Bastnäs ores are concentrated at Hultebo, in a plant
consisting of two ball mills and an assorting department for haematite ores.
The Riddarhytte Co.,Ltd., is the largest producer in Sweden of low phosporous iron
ore intended for sale in the open market. By low phosphorous ore is meant ore that
contains less than 0.01 % of phosphorus. Even the large ore-exporting company,
Grängesberg-Oxelösund, cannot deliver ore with so low a percentage of phosphorus as this,
and, as a rule, other large Swedish mining companies only deliver such ore to their
shareholders.
The output of iron ore for the period 1915-1919 is shown by the following tables:
