Paspalum mandioccamum. Wie bei den bisjetzt untersuch-
ten Gräsern kommt auch bei diesem eine sukzessive Zweiteilung
der Pollenmutterzelle vor. Von Kuwapa (1911) ist jedoch ein Fall
beschrieben, wo »contrary to the normal case there was no parti-
tion wall» zwischen den homöotypen Spindeln, nämlich bei einer
Rasse von Zea Mays. Hier handelt es sich jedoch um eine anor-
male Erscheinung derselben Art wie oben bei Taraxacum, Hout-
luynia u. a.
