Dixit concilia et synodos hactenus nihil profuisse ecclesie, nam propter

Den 28 emellan 9 och 10 voro bisperna m. Petrus Ben[edicti]
Lincopensis, m. Petrus Jon&x Strängnensis, m. Olaus Stephani Arosien-
sis, m. Ericus Erici Aboensis sampt medh dominis professoribus m.
Nicolao, m. Petro Choenicio, m. Jacobo Erici och m. Erico Sceppero
peenitentiario Holmfensi] in presentia aliquorum ministrorum verbi för-

Hora 10 gick m. Ericus Jac[obi] in collegium, ther prästerskapet
af Upsala stickt församblade vore, och förmanade them till thet samma,
nempliga att archebisp skulle först uthvälias och sedan acta blifva för-
handlade, hvilket the alla samtyckte, säijandes ther hos: om the icke
fingo archebiscop, så ville the alle samptligen begifva sig hvar hem
till sitt. Uthvaldes och sex men af them, som gingo medh up till
fursten. När nu alt thetta så beslutit var, gingo bisperna sampt medh
the förnämpsta af prästerskapit till att förfråga sig hos h. f. N., hvilket
rådeligast vara kunne, antingen låta concilium gå fort för sig eller och
först uthvälia nogon till archiepiscopum. Gaf h. f. N. them gunstige
svar, säijandes sig vilia sampt medh riksens rådh hafva sådant i be-
tänkande. Ibland alt annat, när the nu h. f. N. underdånligen betackat
hade, för thet h. f. N. sampt med rikesens rådh hade af gunst och
nåde beviliat, att thetta concilium ske skulle, stegh Lincopensis fram
