N. Tryblionella Hantzsch. (Grun. A. Diat. pag. 69) var.
Victoria Grun. — Kara.

var. levidensis W. Sm. — Finm., Kara.

— I have indicated this species in the D. of the A. S. as an
inhabitant of the Arctic Sea, but not having afterwards found

Tindin-gen (N. O. Holst).

I am very uncertain as to the exact position of this
dia-tom, whose nearest allies seem to be N. ? (Homoeoeladia) pungens
Grun. Mpt. (Cl. & Möll. Diat. No 307) from Japan, also the
Fragilaria (?) Cylindrus Grun. Mpt.

Sectio: Panduriformes.

N. pandiiriformis Greg. var. délicatula Grun. (A. Diat. pag.
71, Pl. V, fig 92) Finm., Spitsb.

N. constricta Kiitz. In the Diat. of the Arctic Sea I
have indicated this species as occurring near Spitsbergen, but
I cannot be sure of the correctness of the determination, not
having found it afterwards.
