Eudendrium rameum, Pallas.

This species occurs from the station in 82° 12’ E. long.
The specimens differ in no respect from British ones.

Tubularia indivisa, L.

A large coarse specimen of this species occurs from the
station in 173° 24’ W. long. It is coarser and larger than
British specimens, and its exact determination is impossible
in the absence of the polypites. It may be the same as
Clarke’s T. borealis.

Campanularia verticiIlata, L.

This species is abundant from tlie station in 56° 27’ E. long.,
which is at once the deepest and the most westerly of the
stations represented. I have searched without success for the very
closely allied Alaskan species C. circula, S. F. C.

Campanulina borealis, n. sp.

Pl. 14, fig. 1.

Stern slender, annulated, sig-sag; sparingly branched.
Hydro-thecce long, narrotv, not ivider above than beloiv, with, pointed conical
operculum, formed of acute converging segments. Polypites and
go-nosome unknown.

This very pretty little species appears to be new. The
calycles differ in shape froni those of the otlier known species
of Campanulina, including C. repens, which otherwise C. borealis
much resembles: but the narrow oblong calycle of the latter
is quite different from tlie conical one of the former. The
annulations of the stem are very distinet and regular.

Habitat: Lat. 67° 7’ N., Long. 173° 24’ W. Investing
Ser-tularians, in 12—15 fathoms.

Obelia dichotoma, L.

Abundant specimens occur from the station in 82° 12’
E. long., and an imperfect specimen, probably referable to
this species comes from 119° E. long.
