28 volumes of their recent publications.
From The Engberg-Holmberg Pub. Co., Chicago, 7
volumes, together with a number of photographs and
lithograph portraits. In addition, certain rare books
were purchased from them, among others “America
Illuminata,” by Jesper Svedberg.
Individual works or newspaper flies have been
received from the following donors: Dr. Eric
Nore-lius, Vasa, Minn.; Rev. E. Wingren, Miss Hibna
Enander, Mr. C. Christenson, Martin J. Engberg,
Mr. Axel Lundeberg, Rev. Carl J. Johnson,
Chicago-Bladet Pub. Co., Mr. Olof F, Nelson, Ernst W. Olson,
Dr. A, P. Fors, Rev. G. S. Ohslund, The Swedish
Methodist Aid Association, through its secretary,
Mr. Frank A. Johnson, all of Chicago, Mr. Carl
B-Osbiick, New York City, and the Society for the
Advancement of Scandinavian Study, through its
secretary, Prof. George T. Flom, Champaign, 111*
who acted as editor.
The above donations aggregate about 730 books
and pamphlets, a large number of files of general
newspapers and local publications, and many rare
copies of defunct publications.
Yearbook.—The 3910 yearbook was issued in the
Ik
current year, in a general edition of 1,000 copies, an
edition of 300 copies printed on better paper being
added for the members and for exchange. The total
cost was $231, Mr. Charles S. Peterson of the
Peterson Linotype Co. having donated $35, being the
