The treasurer submitted his report, which appears
elsewhere in this Year Booh,
In the discussion which followed with reference to the
affiliation with the American-Scandmavian Society several
speakers expressed the opinion that while such a
co-operation could be of value to both organizations it was
advisable for us to dissolve this relation since we need the small
membership fee for the maintenance and development of
our own library.
It was unanimously decided that the affiliation with the
American “Scandinavian Society be forthwith dissolved and
that this society shall no longer pay the subscription
price of the American-Scandinavian Review for its members.
The following were elected members of the Council for
three Years:
C, G, Wallenius, Ernst W. Olson, Fritz School tz, Gustaf
Hallbom and Gottfrid Nelson,
