Ericsson, Lars Magnus (1846–1926), inventor, industrialist, Sweden.

In 1876, the same year when Bell invented the telephone, Lars Magnus Ericsson started a telegraph equipment repair workshop in Stockholm. He was the sole owner of the telephone company L. M. Ericsson for twenty years, until it was incorporated in 1896. See also the Swedish Tele Museum.
