Duwall,

från Skottland härstammande ätt, som invandrade till Sverige omkring 1594 med Albrekt Mac-Dougall, som 1626 blef fogde öfver Örbyhus och Tierp i Uppsala län. Dennes son generalen Jacob Mac-Dougall blef 1674, fyrtio år efter sin död, upphöjd i friherrligt stånd och sönerna introducerades följande år å riddarhuset.
