MINES.

At various times during the past, the Company has purchased a number of mines,
or shares in iron-ore fields, for the purpose of having a sufficient supply of suitable ore.

The most important of these mines are: Taberg (bought 1732—58); Nordmark
(1733—50; 1807—08 and 1870—97); shares in the Finnmosse orefield (1733—35 and 1865
—93), and in the Persberg orefield, acquired in 1861 and 1872. The total quantity
mined yearly amounts to about 70,000 tons iron ore of high quality. In addition, the
Company is the owner of numerous shares in the Långban orefield, in Värmland, in
the Lomberg mines, at Grängesberg and in the Tuolluvara Mines, in Lappland.

POWER STATIONS.

The Company has a considerable number of waterfalls on its extensive estates,
representing a total power supply of more than 100,000 HP. For the purpose of the
