Professor Arthur L. Phelps of McGill University
will conduct the “Discussion Group” program
to be heard Tuesday evenings throughout
November.
Actualities and interviews
CANADIAN CHRONICLE (Monday to
Friday). Presenting topical reports
from Canada. Twice daily.
CANADIANS AT WORK (Fridays). A
documentary program illustrated by
actuality reports from factories, in-
dustries and scenes of development in
the news.
SPORTS Report (Saturdays). Eye-
witness commentaries on outstanding
sports events in Canada.
Sports WEEK (Mondays). Canadian
sports activities reviewed.
Cross SEcTION (Mondays). During
November Gordon Burwash concludes
his current series with four inter-
views with representative Canadians,
including a housewife, married stu-
dents, a film technician and a peace-
time soldier in the Canadian Army.
Magazine Programs
LIVELY Arts (Thursdays). Speakers
from many parts of Canada will give
accounts of developments in such
fields of activity as films, literature,
painting, architecture, drama. Com-
ments from artists and critics will be
included.

DISCOVERING CANADA (Sundays). A
magazine of the air containing reports
and interviews designed to portray
Canadian geography and the lives of
Canadian people.
Discussion GROUP (Tuesdays). Well
informed Canadians will be asked to
participate in a half-hour round
table discussion on topics of current
interest.
During the program "Anthology"
Lister Sinclair reads and com-
ments on selections and passages
by Canadian writers.
Talks and Stories
CANADIANA (Tuesdays). Stories
about Canada and Canadians of
the past, and reports on current
Canadian activities.
ANTHOLOGY (Saturdays). Lister
Sinclair will read excerpts from Cana-
dian prose and comment upon them.
During November he plans to speak
on Stephen Leacock’s ‘Sunshine
Sketches”.
CHURCH NEWS (Sundays). Leading
Canadian church men are heard in a
weekly broadcast commenting upon
church activities.
