WOMEN IN THE NEW WORLD (Satur-
days). A series of broadcasts on
Canadian homes, marriage and
careers. During June, reporter-house-
wife Pamela Fry gives a survey of the

sonal observations with information
gathered from family councellors,
social workers and psychiatrists.

JIM NESBITT contributes reports to

series of recitals by outstanding
Canadian artists.

folk songs of North America, and
traces the origin of each.
PRAIRIE SCHOONER (Sundays). Jimmy
Gowler and his orchestra present
music of Canadian pioneer days.
Drama
BARLOWS OF BEAVER STREET (Mon-
days). Elsie Park Gowan’s weekly
dramatic serial describing the every-
day life of an average Canadian
family.
