Midweek Commentary (Wednes-
days). Reports on food production in
Canada together with commentaries
on marketing and trade in food com-
modities with other countries are pre-
sented by agricultural authorities.

Weekend Commentary (Satur-
days). A summary of events which
have taken place during the week in
Canada and abroad is presented every
Saturday. On September 3 Leonard W.
Brockington presents a special Labour
Day talk. On September 10 Martyn
Estall of the Department of Philo-
sophy at Queen’s University gives an
end-of-the-week review of events.

Actualities and Interviews

Canadian Chronicle (Monday to
Saturday). CBC correspondents post-
ed in every city across Canada report
twice daily on colorful happenings in
their particular area.

Canadian Scene (Fridays). A series
of actuality broadcasts covering Cana-

Sigrid Hayden, an Australian house-
wife.

Magazine Programs

The Lively Arts (Wednesdays). In
this series cultural trends and develop-
ments in Canada are investigated.
During September, Graham McInnes,
well-known Canadian art CHIC:
presents four talks on Canadian
painters whom he has observed on
summer excursions. His series includes
