Johnson of Toronto tells about the

Ted Allen, Montreal writer and broadcaster,
is the author of the scripts used for the docu-
mentary series “The Canadian Family Tree”.

dramatization of Canadian writings
in which is incorporated an author’s

Evening Recital (Thursdays). Per-
formances by outstanding Canadian
artists.
Folk Songs (Tuesdays). The favo-
rite folk songs of North America are
interpreted by Canadian ballad sing-
er, Alan Mills.
Prairie Schooner (Sundays). The
days of the early settlers are recalled
with lively songs and dances by
Jimmy Gowler and his orchestra in
Winnipeg.
