The organization of postal services for 14 million Canadians dispersed over
some 3,800,000 square miles is no easy task. In order to bring mail within
the reach of all Canadians, every possible means of transportation is employed
from the airplane to the dog-sled, and from the horse-and-buggy to the
snowmobile.
