Canadiana — 1715 GMT. Here are
told seasonal stories of a Canada where
skiers look forward to the first deep
snow in the hills of Quebec or a
British Columbia gardener often
gathers a Christmas rose.
Press Review — 2245 GMT. Editorial
comment from Canadian daily and
weekly newspapers, selected and in-
troduced by Harold Pickel of CBC.
Thursdays: How We Live — 2245 GMT.
Here we try to satisfy the curiosity of
our listeners about the details of our
daily life, our community and leisure
activities.
Canada at Work — 2245
GMT. Canadian business, agriculture,
trade and commerce, all fall within
the scope of this programme of reports
and comment. At Christmas time we
hope to enliven the usually sober
picture of an industrious Canada with

all the major and minor forms of
cultural expression. A weekly maga-
zine of several items is planned.
News Analysis: Following news bulle-
tins at 1700, 1845 and 2230 GMT,
commentators representing univer-
sities, newspapers or periodicals, inter-
pret current events,

Wednesdays: J. B. McGeachy of
