Access is easy by rail and motor services. There are also facilities for trout-fishing in the swirling mountain rivers and the crystal- clear tarns. For those who wish to be near the sea there are the coastal districts along the fjords in the South, West, and North. In Western Norway we have the Ryfylke Fjords, Hardanger, Sogn, Sunn and Nord Fjords, the Sunnmgr Fjords, Romsdal Fjord and Sunndals Fjord. The fjords penetrate the country between mighty mountains capped with eternal snows, while at their base we find pretty farms and a wealth of fresh vegetation.
