THE GULDSMEDSHYTTAN IRON WORKS
consists of the following units: 2 blast furnaces, concentration works and briquetting
works, sintering works, 2 foundries, mechanical workshops, Bessemer works with 2
converters, and electric steel works, with 2 furnaces. In addition, the Company owns a
saw mill with a planing mill.

Nothing but charcoal is employed as reducing medium in the manufacture of pig iron.
