THE SIEMENS-MARTIN WORKS

consist of 6 Siemens-Martin furnaces, acid as well as basic. The ingots manufactured
are chiefly used for the Company’s own requirements.

Ferro-manganese and ferro-silicon with high or low percentages are made in an
electric furnace for ferroalloys.

THE ROLLING-MILL DEPARTMENT

consists of blooming mill and mills for the production of bars and structural steel in
various shapes.

In the ingot mill, which is constructed for 14 inch ingots, the ingots are rolled
down into billets and after that into square, round and flat bar-iron, angle-bars,
