It is to be distinguished by the very short first two pairs
of pereiopoda, by the narrowT femora of the third and fourth
pairs and the dilated ones of the last three pairs. Further by
the comparatively long peduncles of the last pair of uropoda,

Hyperoche is easily distinguished from Hyperia, its nearest
relative, by the form of the carpal processes of the first twTo
