serrated. Also the earpi of the third and fourth pair are
different in form, with serrated hinder edges, or dilated as in the
genera Parathemisto and Euthemisto. The general habitus is

H. Kroeyeri is characterized by the slender form of the
body and the elongated last three pairs of pereiopoda; in
general habitus it comes nearest to H. prehensilis, Spence Bate
and Westwood, and resembles a Parathemisto in the form
of the earpi of third and fourth pairs of pereiopoda. The
peculiar shape of {he first two pairs shows however that it
must be ranged in the genus Hyperoche.

It differs from the preceding speeies by the linear broad
earpi of third and fourth pairs of pereiopoda, and by the carpal
process of the second pair being almost as long as the
meta-carpus and dactylus together. The peduncles of the last pair
of uropoda are three times longer than telson.
Length 5 mm.
