In February, 1894, he was united in marriage to
Miss Christine Rasmussen, who was born in Denmark,
November 8, 1871.
EXTRACTS OF PROCEEDINGS.
Council Meeting, April 21, 1911.
The secretary reported as follows; Of the
Yearbook 1,000 copies of the general edition and 317
copies of a special, or member’s edition have been
printed at a total cost of $231. Mr. C. S. Peterson
donated composition to the amount of $35; The
Eng-berg-Holmberg Pub. Co. made a discount of $50 on
their printing bill, and Mr. G. A. Akerlind paid the
cost of the portrait appearing in the book.
Since the last Council meeting, in October,
thirty-seven new members have been added, making a total
of 229.
The list of accessions in the Yearbook represents
over 900 books and pamphlets. To this has been
added since; 1.80 books and pamphlets from the
library of the late Dr. Joh. A. Enander, kindly
donated by Mrs. Enander, and 110 books and
pamphlets from other donors, chiefly, Augustana Book
Concern, Rock Island, 111.; Svenska
Litteratur-Sällskapet i Finland; Kungl. Svenska
Vetenskaps-Akademien and Dr. C. V. Hartman, Stockholm;
Dr. Peter Olsson-Selfer, of Mexico, lately deceased;
Messrs. Vilhelm Berger, New York, and G. A. M.
Liljeerantz, Oliver A. Linder, and P. G. Almberg?
Chicago. Total accessions 290 books and pamphlets,
besides a number of historical portraits and files of
newspapers and periodicals.
