Beatrice Bennett, pianist; March 23,
Eugene Kash, violinist, Stephen Kon-
daks, violist, and Jean Belland, cellist;
March 30, Marie losch, harpist, and
Marcel Baillargeon, flutist.

FOLK SONGS (Thursdays). Alan Mills,
Canadian ballad singer, interprets
folk songs of North America, and
traces the origin of each.

MUSIC OF THE MODERNS (Tuesdays).
A series presented for modern music
enthusiasts.

PRAIRIE SCHOONER (Saturdays). Jim-
my Gowler and his 14-piece orchestra
feature music of pioneer days in the
Canadian West.

Drama

BARLOWS OF BEAVER STREET (Mon-
days). Life in an average Canadian
family is unfolded in this weekly
series written by Elsie Park Gowan.

On STAGE (Wednesdays). Half-hour
dramas written by Canadian play-
wrights. March 2, “A Marriage is
Arranged” by F. Marjorie Jordan;
March 9, ‘The Last Chapter’ by
Glen Keith Cowan; March 16, "The
Man with the Square Jaw’ by F.
Marjorie Jordan; March 23, “The
