The carpal processes of the first two pairs of pereiopoda
are longer than metacarpi. The carpi of third and fourth pairs
are produeed downwards into serrated, very short processes.
The peduncles of the last pair of uropoda are a little more
than twice as long as telson.
Length 12—15 mm.
Hab. West coast of Greenland, coasts of Spitzbergen, the

Tauria is distinguished from all tlie other genera of the
family by the second pair of pereiopoda being simple, not
sub-cheliform. In general habitus it resembles Hyperia.
